Prestige Drilling Services was founded to solve a specific problem in the Victorian exploration sector: the lack of reliable, agile drilling contractors who can access “hard basket” sites without massive overheads.
Based in the Bendigo Goldfields and servicing all of Victoria and beyond we specialise in track-mounted surface exploration. We operate where the big truck rigs can’t go—navigating tight forestry tracks, steep gullies, and environmentally sensitive bushland.
Unlike competitors who expect the Geologist to manage site logistics, we are fully self-sufficient. We bring our own pumps, manage our own water cartage, and handle the setup We free you up to analyze the core, while we manage the drill pad.
Driller & Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic At the helm of Prestige Drilling is Brenton Smart, a director who brings more than just drilling experience to the site—he brings mechanical certainty. With over 17 years as a qualified heavy diesel mechanic and 13+ years specifically working on mining equipment, Brenton understands that in remote exploration, equipment reliability is everything.
